The latest addition to the New 3DS XL family

Nintendo of Japan has revealed the third color, Pearl White, for their New Nintendo 3DS XL line, which will be available in Japan in the coming weeks.

The company displayed the latest color along with the New Nintendo 3DS XL Metallic Blue and Metallic Black variants on their website. Judging by the pictures, it appears that the Pearl White version will be constructed with the same materials as the other two choices; matte finish for the interior, and a glossy coating for the exterior.

Aside from the new color option, “Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus,” the fourth title in the “Rhythm Heaven” series, will launch alongside the New 3DS XL. Just like the predecessors, this upcoming entry will feature even more mini games that will test the players’ rhythm skills through various music tracks. To get an idea of what’s in store for the newest “Rhythm Heaven” title, check out the introduction trailer below, uploaded by GameXplain:

The Pearl White New Nintendo 3DS XL will be released in Japan on June 11 for 18,800 yen. In addition to “Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus” launching on the same day as the New 3DS XL, the game will cost 4,700 yen.
