Are you eager to get your hands on the upcoming “Super Smash Bros. for 3DS?” Do you also have a Japanese Nintendo 3DS within your possession? If you answered yes to both of those questions, then what are you waiting for?! The demo for the highly anticipated brawler is available to download in the Japanese eShop as we speak.

Within the demo, players will have a choice of picking Mario, Link, Pikachu, the Villager, from “Animal Crossing,” or Mega Man as their main combatant. Aside from those five characters mentioned, the rest of the cast will have their chance to shine once the actual game is released. Needless to say, the only stage that’s playable in the demo is Battlefield. Just like the same case with the characters, the rest of the stages will be accessible once the game is available in stores.

With that being said, once you choose your character and the stage, you will be fighting as three CPU opponents. However, players have the option to duke it out with their friends with local multiplayers as well. Just to be mindful that is the duration of Nintendo’s demo policy is limited to 30 playthroughs. Moreover, anyone who’s interested in the Super Smash Bros. demo for their Japanese 3DS must have at least 1,016 blocks or more to download it.
