Shifting tiers once again?

Nintendo of Japan has confirmed that “Super Smash Bros. of Wii U and 3DS” will receive the new 1.1.6. patch sometime this month.

According to the company’s website, the latest update will focus on balancing select characters within the roster. Although Nintendo has shared very little details regarding the 1.1.6 patch, expect certain sites, like Smash Boards, to provide an in-depth analysis of all the changes once it’s available.

It’s also worth noting that existing replays, prior to version 1.1.6, will no longer be accessible to the players. Therefore, it’s recommended to backup any memorable footages that you have before the patch goes gold.

Just like the previous Smash Bros. patches, players must obtain the latest version if they’re interested in playing online. In terms of the overall size of the update, users will need 61 MB for Wii U and 325 MB on their 3DS to successfully download.

Are you looking forward to what version 1.1.6. has in-store for “Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS?” Let me know in the comments below.
